injustice
Psalm 58:10 says "The godly will rejoice when they see injustice avenged." Injustice is all around us. We see it in the political climate; we hear it on the radio and we experience it in our personal lives: A friend doesn't apologize; a spouse consistently belittles; a child is endlessly tormented.
But there's hope. We're promised that "injustice will be avenged" and that right-ness "will shine like the noon day sun" (Psalm 37:6). If you're in a situation where you're being wrongly accused or where the abuse of a friend or relative has beaten you down, take heart and believe what David believed: "...at last...there is truly a reward for those who live for God; surely there is a God who judges justly on earth" (Psalm 58:11).
