Return to God

Today at church the 2nd verse of a song we sang said "...hear the sound of hearts returning to You."  Tears sprang to my eyes as I thought about the Lord's incredible mercy toward you and me.  Isaiah 44:21b-22 (nlt) says "I, the Lord, made you, and I will not forget you.  I have swept away your sins like a cloud.  I have scattered your offenses like the morning mist.  Oh, return to me, for I have paid the price to set you free.”

Can you see Jesus standing before you with a look of compassion in His eyes; waiting for you to return to Him after some sin has caused a breach in your relationship?  Run to Him.  Let Him clean you up.  He's anxious to restore your heart and make you new.
