The great exchange

The great exchange between Christ and sinners happens every day:

• I trade my hurt for his hope...
• I get his beauty because he took my bitterness...
• I exchange my sorrow for his sunshine...
• I confess my pride and he gives me his purity...
• I trade my ugliness for his undeserved kindness...
• He gives me life in exchange for his death...

Why?  "God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ." (2 Corinthians 5:21).
