"Who are you wearing?"

Every year, I love to catch a bit of the pre-Oscar red carpet excitement. Celebrities, men and women alike, stroll the carpet in their beautiful clothing and magnificent jewels. In fact, when stopped along the way by the reporters and media hounds, what's the first question they're asked...'who are you wearing?' Why, because the designer needs to gets the credit for the design!

Well, let me take a moment and give credit to the One who dressed me: "I am overwhelmed with joy in the LORD my God!  For he has dressed me with the clothing of salvation and draped me in a robe of righteousness.  I am like a bridegroom dressed for his wedding or a bride with her jewels" (Isaiah 61:10).

God took away my sin by clothing me in salvation and then he wrapped me in his glorious righteousness.  And, to top it off, he bedazzled me in the shining and precious stones of ruby, turquoise and sapphire (Isaiah 54:11-12).

Quite an outfit, huh?  And you know the best part?  I don't have to return it.
