Spending Time with God: Attitude or Activity? - By Julie Tate
You can’t hear God’s voice if you don’t spend time with Him. Attending church or a Bible study is different from “spending time with the Lord.” Spending time with God is an attitude that drives you toward a close, personal relationship with the One who saved your soul! And, as you know Him more intimately, *obedience will become a matter of love rather than fear,
*service to others will be an outpouring of His love rather than duty,
*trust will become a natural response to His character,
*and your life will bring glory to Him.
While highlighting the difference between activity and attitude as we explore the sometimes daunting task of “having your devotions”,we’ll also focus on the purpose, the pattern, the problems and the practice of a healthy, God-centered devotional life. This bible study is 6-weeks in duration.
