new...again

During my morning quiet time I read the phrase "...as we continue to be renewed..."  If we stop to realize that the word renewed means "to be new again," then this phrase becomes a remarkable description of what our Christian lives are to be like on a daily basis.   As we live our "new lives in Christ" (2 Corinthians 5:17), we're to stay in a looping pattern:  Continuing (moving in a forward direction) to be renewed (to be new...again).   Do you get it?  Forward motion that brings us back to the new start!

 What an amazing God we serve Who is always willing to renew us as we continue to move in His direction.
