Don't Ignore...
This morning during my quiet time, I was delighted to find that the proverb I was scheduled to read in my “Read through the Bible” program said: “People who accept discipline are on the pathway to life, but those who ignore correction will go astray” (Proverbs 10:17). My bible study had just been discussing God's discipline in our lives and what a confirmation from the Lord to find this verse. I quickly emailed the women in my study and said: Don’t ignore the discussion we had yesterday girls. Don’t avoid it; don’t be an Ostrich and bury your head in the sand. Make a decision to literally do some business with God:

*Determine what stage of intervention you’re presently in (verbal, emotional or physical – see the reading in chapter 4 of our book "Secrets of the Vine" or the study guide questions on page 26 of the coordinating material if you need more insight)…
*Pray for forgiveness and the courage to “make a u-turn” in the form of repentance…
*Decide how to take the necessary steps toward restoration remembering that God’s plan is to restore you…not to punish you.
Remember the verse I quoted to you on our first class - Malachi 2:2 “Listen to me and make up your minds to honor my name,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. This is a great time for you to take this verse to heart and “make up your mind” to obediently move in the direction of God’s perfect will for your life. He’s dying to help you! Let Him…
