Timely Advice

The book of Proverbs has so many wonderful things to say about the practical areas of our lives. For example: "Too much talk leads to sin. Be sensible and keep your mouth shut" (10:19); or "Hatred stirs up quarrels, but love makes up for all offenses" (10:12). Imagine your life with these principles in place. Arguments would be averted, forgiveness would be offered and love would reign. The next time you sense a conflict on the horizon, try being gentle with your words even if the offending party doesn't deserve it. This loving action will neutralize the conflict and make reconciliation a real possibility.

Isn't God's Word great? It's timely, effective and 'right on the money' when applied to any area of our lives.
