Keep your eyes on yourself

1 Peter 1:17 says "Remember that the heavenly Father to whom you pray has no favorites."  It's so easy to look down your nose at someone - judging them unworthy of Christ's love and mercy because of their actions or attitude - forgetting that they are a precious soul for whom Christ died...just like you.  In God's eyes, they are forgiven and set free through faith in Christ...just like you.  Grace is free and available to them...just like it is for you. A good way to keep this concept in perspective is to simply stay focused on yourself.  Note that the above verse goes on to say "[God] will judge or reward you according to what you do."  Leave the judgment to God.  He's perfect, all-knowing and just.  You've go enough to worry about without worrying about how someone else is messing up.

Me too.
