stay in the light

John 12:46 "I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness."  I recently asked my girlfriend a simply question:  "what's God been teaching you lately?"   I love her answer.  She said  "God keeps telling me to stay in the light." Stay in the Light; what a hopeful instruction.  Because in the Light, we have peace from worry; in the Light, we have forgiveness of sins; in the Light, we have insight for daily activities while all the darkness offers is turmoil, rejection and shame.

Sunday's worship service included a song called "I have a Hope."  The chorus says "He takes my darkness and He turns it into Light."  Have you experienced that today?  Darkness turned to light?  Let Jesus be "the Light" in your life and stay close to Him.  When you think about what happens in the darkness, He's the safest place to be.
