Wow

Sin, like a coiled up venomous snake, is ready to strike at any moment.  But Jesus, our Redeemer, our Savior, steps into the path of the snake and takes the blow on our behalf.  Wow.  Jesus steps between me and the snake...between me and my sin...and absorbs the punishment my sins deserve. Wow.  This concept should leave us nearly speechless.  The only thing sneaking from our lips should be worship for our Savior combined with determination to live in a way that honors Him. 

Because of Jesus, I'm forgiven and free...and so are you.  Let's act like it.
