The Great Determiner

In a recent podcasted sermon by John McArthur, He said "the Bible is the great Determiner."  In other words, how we respond to the Bible - God's written Word for us - determines how our lives will progress.  Will we reject it's teachings and reap the consequences of our independence or will we set up the Bible as our ultimate standard for daily living? Oh ladies and gentleman...(can you hear the pleading in my voice?), let God's Word saturate your life in the New Year. 

• Spend time reading it...
• take time to meditate on it...
• make time to share it with others...

It will enhance your highs and teach you to deal with your lows.  As someone once said "When you see a Bible that is worn out and raged, usually the owner of that Bible is not."
