Who's your King?

There are two kinds of kings in this world.  The first is a parliamentary monarch, like Queen Elizabeth II.  She is the object of great reverence but in terms of real power, she has little.  The second is an absolute monarch whose office is both ceremonially impressive AND politically powerful.  This leader is the head of everything and their authority is supreme. So, as you head into 2014, who's your king?  Is Jesus your Lord and master or is he just a figure head you pay homage to when it's convenient?  The new year is the perfect time to assess the place he holds in your life and then make the necessary adjustments to get him up on the throne.  Why? Because our Lord is an absolute monarch.  He's the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords and the only peace you'll ever truly experience is if he's got all there is of you.
